A Red Chalet Description
Welcome to A Red Chalet!
This charming cabin is tucked away near the quiet mountain town of Newland, yet conveniently located near many High Country activities and attractions. Linville Falls and Linville Caverns are within 25 minutes to the South, with Grandfather Mountain State Park, Banner Elk, and Sugar Mountain just 25 minutes to the North. Beech Mountain, Boone, and Blowing Rock are within a 45-minute drive, and the popular Jonas Ridge Snow Tubing Park is 17 minutes from the cabin.
A Red Chalet provides a bright, cheerful space with tasteful mountain modern touches. The main level open floor plan includes a gas fireplace and TV, a cozy leather sectional couch, an elegant kitchen, and dining space that accommodates 12 guests. There are air hockey and shuffleboard game tables located on the sunny main level, plus a wood stove for supplemental heat. Plenty of windows let in the natural light and draw your eyes to the lovely mountain views. Outside is a spacious deck, gas grill, and a wood-burning fire pit. Need or want a few minutes to yourself? Enjoy the quiet meditation bench, mountain air, and the view.
The master suite on the main level has a king bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a private ensuite bathroom. Downstairs is another cozy king bedroom with a desk and seating area next to a large window letting in the light. The third bedroom has a queen over queen bunk bed and a king bed. Each bedroom has an HDTV for guests to stream favorite shows and movies.
Central heating and air conditioning, a washer and dryer, and Wifi will provide all the comforts of home. There is parking for 3 cars below the house, with beautifully built wooden stairs leading up to the front entrance. This cabin is not pet friendly.
***In Winter Weather, 4WD and Tire Chains are a must-have! Will Robbins is a privately-maintained dirt and gravel road. Snow and ice can last a long time on parts that are heavily wooded and don't get much sunlight. Also, the driveway is uphill and can be tricky during winter weather or wet conditions.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
