Welcome to Bear Haven!
Bear Haven is a four (4) bedroom, three and a half (3.5) bathroom mountain home with views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and a lake below. Take in the sights and cool mountain air from the comfortable ample seating on the covered porch, or walk down to the private wooden swing on a clear night and enjoy an uninterrupted sky full of stars! Bear Haven is located in The Headwaters private gated community just 15 minutes from Banner Elk. Both Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and Beech Mountain Ski Resort are 25 minutes from the cabin. Less than an hour away are the towns of Boone and Blowing Rock.
Step into Bear Haven and find a comfortable living room with leather furniture, a gas log fireplace, and a flat-screen TV. Tongue-and-groove walls and vaulted ceilings provide a cabin feel for a true mountain getaway. Adjacent to the living room is an open kitchen with updated stainless steel appliances and beautiful granite countertops. The dining table seats four (4) with an additional four (4) seats at the kitchen bar. Step outside to breathtaking views on the covered porch to enjoy in the morning or while grilling in the evening. Wander down to the wooden swing or fire pit next to a water feature with a small pond for evening marshmallow roasting or star gazing.
The tastefully decorated master king suite has a flat-screen TV and private ensuite bathroom with a tiled step-in shower. Upstairs you will find two (2) cozy queen bedrooms and a shared hallway bathroom. The upstairs loft sitting area includes a comfortable sofa which pulls out into a queen bed for additional sleeping options. Downstairs is a spacious den with a pool table, a large sectional couch, and large flat-screen TV with speakers. The lower level has another queen bedroom with beautiful wood furniture and a flat-screen TV.
Bear Haven provides central heating and air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet, and a gas grill in a private, quiet community. With a pool table, den, and outdoor space, friends and family are sure to have a memorable vacation in the mountains. The six (6) TVs throughout the home are all fire stick enabled and currently do not have cable or satellite programming.
This cabin is not pet-friendly. The paved level driveway has parking for up to four (4) cars with a covered area and just a few low steps onto the deck and main entrance. The approach is paved with an incline. 4-wheel drive and tire chains are recommended for winter travel.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
