Welcome to Fun Cabin!
Fun Cabin sits just outside Boone, convenient to many attractions in the High Country. Willow Valley Golf Course is just two minutes away, and Valle Crucis, the historic Mast General Store, and the riverside Valle Crucis Community Park are just a few miles away. Downtown Boone, home to Appalachian State University, is fifteen minutes away and boasts local dining, shopping, and breweries. Tweetsie Railroad, Appalachian Ski Mountain, Boone Golf Course, High Gravity Adventures Aerial Park, Grandfather Winery, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster, and many more High Country adventures are all within a brief 20-minute drive.
This charming two-bedroom cabin has an open-concept main floor with a high vaulted ceiling and beautiful tongue-and-groove walls. The living room has comfortable leather furniture around the floor-to-ceiling stacked-stone fireplace and Smart TV. Relax by the fire after a day on the slopes or hiking on the Blue Ridge Parkway. The dining table has seating for six guests and has access to the deck, where you can enjoy the hot tub after playing golf or riding the train at Tweetsie Railroad. Fire up the charcoal grill or cook your favorite meal in the fully stocked kitchen. There is plenty of counter space for food prep, with additional seating for two at the peninsula. The front porch is fully covered and perfect for morning coffee while enjoying the fresh mountain air.
Fun Cabin can comfortably sleep eight guests. The master suite has a king bed and FireTV on the main level. The ensuite bathroom has double vanities, a jetted tub, and a step-in shower. Upstairs, the second bedroom has a FireTV and accommodates four guests in a king bed, twin bed, and a trundle bed. The open loft has a workspace perfect for remote work and games for the whole family. There is also a queen-sized Murphy bed for two guests. There is also a second full bathroom off the loft.
Additional amenities include WiFi, central heating and air conditioning, a fire pit, and Smart TVs for guests to log in to their own streaming accounts. Access to the house is via a paved road and a gravel parking area for two guests. Winter travelers should prepare for inclement weather with AWD or 4WD and snow chains.

You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
