Welcome to Grandview Getaway!
Enjoy a fantastic mountain getaway at this log cabin boasting breathtaking panoramic long-range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. A wonderful place to gather with friends and family, this 3-story home with 4 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms accommodates up to 17 guests. Located in the premier Grandview Peaks gated community, guests can enjoy the community amenities, including a 10-acre lake for swimming and fishing, a beautiful trail system, scenic waterfalls and picnic areas along the way, and a pavilion with a large stone fireplace, grill and more. The main floor is an open concept living space with comfy leather couches around the gas fireplace and large flat-screen TV. Beyond the living room are the well-equipped kitchen and dining area, and the entire space is surrounded by warm wood paneling. A wall of windows opens to the expansive view and the covered main deck that is furnished with an outdoor dining table and gas grill. A second living room on the lower level includes another large flat-screen TV and a shuffleboard game table and accesses the lower-level porch. Enjoy the views and mountain air outdoors with a corn hole game, wood-burning fire pit, and hot tub, or wander through the generous landscaped grounds.
The master suite, situated on the main level, includes a king bed, a private ensuite bathroom, and a private furnished covered balcony. A sleeper/love seat unfolds to a twin sleeping space. Upstairs is a queen bedroom with in-room access to the jack-and-jill upstairs bathroom and views from the window. The upstairs bunk room sleeps 6 with a queen-over-queen bunk bed and a double bed. The fourth bedroom, located on the lower level, has a king bed and a twin sleeper chair. Additional sleeping space includes a full-size pull-out sofa in the living room and a twin sleeper chair on the upstairs landing.
Grandview Getaway is located near Lake James, Asheville, Lake Lure, Black Mountain, Little Switzerland, and Linville, providing opportunities to explore many parts of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Additional amenities include:
- Central heat and air conditioning.
- Washer and dryer.
- Wifi and tv programming on all 6 TVs.
Pets are not allowed. There is a paved circular driveway with ample parking in front of the covered main entrance.
Grandview Getaway is a perfect escape where you will make memories in a gorgeous mountain setting.
MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO BOOK
CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
