Welcome to Huntington Hideaway!
Huntington Hideaway is a charming, upscale, 3BR/3BA mountain cottage tucked away on a large, wooded property with mountain views in the sought-after Headwaters gated community minutes from Banner Elk and both Beech and Sugar mountains. Headwaters is a secure, gated, luxury community where guests can walk from the house to the pristine lake and lakeside pavilion and canoe, fish, or picnic. Within walking distance is the adventure park with campsites, treehouses, and fire pits for families to enjoy.
Huntington Hideaway is only 5 or 6 miles to Beech Mountain and Beech Mountain Ski Resort and Buckeye Lake & Recreation Center and from downtown Banner Elk with numerous great restaurants, shopping, and a family-friendly park. It is less than 10 miles to Sugar Mountain and the Sugar Mountain Ski Resort and the Sugar Mountain Golf Club. Boone and Blowing Rock are about 25 miles away. Grandfather Mountain is about 15 miles in distance and it is about 15 miles to Linville Falls and the Linville Caverns. Elk River and Watauga River are both conveniently close by, and Watauga Lake is less than 30 miles away.
Huntington Hideaway has a level entry to the main floor, which has a comfortable living room with vaulted ceilings, a gas log fireplace, and a large HD Smart TV. The kitchen is open to the living room and dining area, and has chiseled granite countertops, upscale appliances, and is fully stocked to prepare and serve gourmet meals to a full house. You can seat 6 at the dining table, plus a few more with the barstool seating at the kitchen island bar top. On the rear patio, you will find comfortable outdoor seating, outdoor dining, and a grill.
The master suite is on the main level and has a king-sized bed, an oversized closet, and a private ensuite master bathroom with a gorgeous tiled shower. The master bedroom also has vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings and an HD Smart TV. The queen bedroom, also on the main level, has a large window revealing mountain views and mature hardwoods. It has an HD Smart TV. There is a full hallway bathroom adjacent to the queen bedroom. It is central to the main level and has a tub/shower combo. Upstairs features a large bedroom with vaulted ceilings, a full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, and two twin beds.
A paved driveway, large property, and a two-car detached garage add to the features and comforts at Huntington Hideaway. You also have central heating and air conditioning for year-round comfort. CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. But you may recover the entire amount if travel insurance was purchased and the reason for the cancellation was covered.
