Welcome to Matteyville!
Awe-inspiring views of the Blue Ridge Mountain Range and Watauga Lake present a stunning backdrop to your next mountain getaway. Nestled in the Appalachian Mountains and the Cherokee National Forest, Matteyville is a picturesque place for adventurers. Watauga Lake, the Watauga Lake Winery, and Villa Nove Vineyard are within a 30-minute drive from the cabin. Watauga Lake can be seen from the house and has multiple marinas offering boat rentals and water sports equipment for fishing and swimming.
The wall of windows and expansive floor-to-ceiling wood interior flood the home with light. The living room has a double-sided gas fireplace that can be viewed from the leather sofa or the kitchen while preparing favorite dishes. Upstairs features a pool table and cozy chairs.
The main level master bedroom includes a king bed and private ensuite bathroom, while upstairs is a queen bedroom with a private bath. The third bedroom is also up the spiral staircase with a queen bed, a twin bed sleeper sofa by the window, a TV, and a private bathroom.
This home offers central heat and air, WiFi, ROKU streaming on the TVs, and a washer and dryer. Pets are not allowed.

****Access Disclosure: The road to Matteyville includes traveling on a very narrow, curvy, state-maintained, paved road for several miles. Once through the gates, the HOA manages the community road maintenance. The community roads are gravel. 4-wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive vehicles are highly recommended to access this property. During winter, the state portion of the road may not be serviceable for snow removal. Matteyville is available for Spring, Summer, and Fall bookings!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
