For you digital nomads, this cottage provides fast upload and download speeds with a newly enhanced communication package which includes upgraded high-speed internet, wireless router, and cell phone boosters. A wired connection is available, and a landline too. A desk with an office chair in the downstairs bunk room is one of the many workspace options available. So whether remote work or learning, you can be as connected as you wish. 
 
The owners of Misty Magic have taken great pride in outfitting this cottage with you in mind, providing all the comforts of home. Live outside as much as you can. A wrap-around upper deck features a fire table, Adirondack chairs, and a high-top dining table that you can enjoy, from your morning coffee to evening cocktails. Relax on the downstairs lower deck, which features a hot tub and a seasonal hammock. Let's not forget the welcoming covered front porch, complete with a gas grill, rockers, a bistro table, and wood benches, as another place for you to gather, play corn hole, and enjoy the mountain breezes. 
 
The main level of this three-level arts and crafts style home has hardwood flooring and a great room with towering vaulted ceilings featuring tasteful tongue-and-groove wood panels and crown molding, a huge HD Smart TV, and a gas-log stone fireplace. A custom leather sofa and chairs provide comfortable seating to gather. The updated kitchen offers stainless appliances, including a double oven, microwave, refrigerator with icemaker, a drip and Keurig coffee maker, a steel farm-style sink, and a center island with six bar stool seats for casual interaction. There is a six-seat dining table with a crystal chandelier. Floor-to-ceiling windows line the walls of the main level, offering magical views from the front door and entry hall through the kitchen and dining area and in the great room. The main floor bedroom has a queen-size bed, an HD Smart TV, blackout curtains, a down comforter, and a full Jack-and-Jill bathroom accessible from the foyer.  
 
Enjoy cool breezes and panoramic views on the main level deck. Head upstairs to the cozy loft with a unique bounce-back Shuffleboard table, board games, and cards. The comfy sofa and the wall-mounted HD Smart TV make it a fantastic area for reading, playing games, and hanging out.

The ensuite master bathroom has tile floors, a glass-enclosed tile shower, a pedestal sink, and access to a large walk-in closet. Just past the master is a big bedroom with two built-in twin beds, plenty of drawers underneath each bed, and two twin trundle beds that pull out for additional sleeping spots. A comfortable chair, a desk, a wall-mounted HD Smart TV, blackout curtains, and a private ensuite full bathroom with double vanity and tub/shower complete the room. Sliding glass doors lead to the lower deck and hot tub. The laundry room is conveniently located on this level, with a washer, dryer, and iron.
 
Misty Magic, thoughtfully outfitted by the owners, features custom artwork in nearly every room, created specifically for the space it occupies. The furniture is upscale yet casual and very comfortable. The beds have comfy mattresses to promote deep sleep after days and nights full of family activities. All five TVs are High Definition Smart TVs. The TV in the great room is 65 inches, and most others are 55 inches. The quiet residential road where Misty Magic sits is fitting for pleasant neighborhood strolls and peaceful evenings on the decks. A backup generator and outside security cameras give you peace of mind.

Misty Magic is located on a dead-end street in the beautiful neighborhood of Misty Mountain. All roads are paved and maintained year-round. All Wheel Drive or 4 Wheel Drive is recommended in the winter season. Level parking for two (2) vehicles is available, providing quick and easy access. You are just a few miles from historic Blowing Rock, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Moses Cone Park, and the incomparable Westglow Spa. Other nearby attractions include:

• Boone - 10 miles

Important Note: Misty Mountain is located in a peaceful, private neighborhood and is unsuitable for parties or loud gatherings. Please be mindful of full-time residents living nearby and observe quiet hours of 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. each day.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
