Welcome To Papas Cabin In The Woods!
An authentic log cabin getaway in the mountains, this fabulous home radiates exquisite quality and unique craftsmanship. Located in the high elevation town of Seven Devils, Papas Cabin in the Woods offers four (4) bedrooms and three and a half (3.5) bathrooms with plenty of space to comfortably accommodate up to sixteen (16) guests. This home features year-round mountain views, a hot tub, and two wood-burning stone fireplaces. The lower level offers a second living room, complete with a full kitchen, has a pool table and shuffleboard with a flat-screen TV.
Centrally located in the High Country, the cabin is only one mile from Hawks Nest Snow Tubing and Zip Lines Resort, Otter Falls and Otter Falls Trail, Seven Devils Town Park with a playground, tennis courts, a picnic area, and more! Other nearby attractions include Grandfather Mountain and the popular profile hiking trail - 10 minutes, Grandfather Mountain Winery - 5 minutes, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort - 15 minutes, and Tweetsie Railroad - 20 minutes away. Blowing Rock and Boone are both within 11 miles, and the town of Banner Elk is only 8 miles. The village of Valle Crucis, its riverfront park, and the original historic Mast General Store are less than 10 miles away.
On the main level is the main living room with a wood-burning stone fireplace, a flat-screen TV, and beautiful mountain-style furnishings. The kitchen has updated stainless steel appliances and granite countertops with bar seating and an adjacent dining table and breakfast nook table for a total of fourteen (14) guests. The main floor deck is home to a gas grill, an outdoor table, and seating for enjoying long-range views. Downstairs is a second living room with a flat-screen TV, a shuffleboard table, a pool table, an office/workspace, and a second full kitchen. Step out to the lower level deck for a soak in the hot tub, or relax with a cup of coffee in the abundant deck furniture.
The master king suite, located on the main level of the home, is well-appointed with upscale wooden furniture, a flat-screen TV, deck access, and a private ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub. Upstairs is a cozy loft outside a second king bedroom and a fun bunk room with four (4) queen beds that share a hall bathroom. A third king bedroom is found downstairs with gorgeous mountain views and a private ensuite bathroom. The futon in the lower level accommodates two more guests for a total occupancy of sixteen (16) guests.
There are six TVs throughout the house. The two living room TVs have cable or satellite programming, and the four (4) bedroom TVs are smart TVs with the spectrum app installed. Papas Cabin in the Woods has central heating and air conditioning, Wifi, and a washer and dryer.
Pets are welcome to join. Guests can add up to two dogs to a reservation. Located on the peak of Seven Devils, the road up is paved, although curvy and climbing in elevation. The pull-in gravel driveway will comfortably accommodate three (3) cars and will fit up to four (4) vehicles. During unpredictable inclement weather, winter guests need to be prepared and equipped with 4WD and chains.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
