Welcome to Stone's Throw!
Stone's Throw is a step back in time. This large five (5) bedroom, four (4) bathroom, fully renovated log home is ideally located in a private setting just minutes to Boone or Blowing Rock. This fun, old-world-style rambling cabin has lots of great living space for you and your family. The home is constructed of reclaimed barn wood and authentic hand-hewn logs from the 1800s. So prepare yourself for an authentic, rustic, mountain experience, though, you will also enjoy the luxury linens throughout the home, as well as the convenience of flat-screen TVs, Apple TV, and Sonos speakers.
This house sits on four (4) private acres, just a "stone's throw" from the Blue Ridge Parkway. Stone's Throw is truly a destination house with many activities and amenities for kids and adults to enjoy, including an outdoor fireplace, hot tub, numerous winding trails, and a wonderful creek running through the property.
The dining room has a long antique dining table that can seat up to fourteen (14). Close by is a four (4) seat round table as well as the five (5) seat center island in the kitchen for a total dining potential of twenty (20) people.
*For those bringing pets, we require that any dogs coming to the house are on an active flea control program.
*Please Note: Stone's Throw's water is provided by a mountain well, and large groups are encouraged to be mindful and conservative with water usage.
*Stone's Throw is located in a neighborhood that prohibits parking on the road. Cars violating this rule will be towed. There is room for (5) cars in the driveway.
*Please Note: Stone's Throw is a private home surrounded by trees but in a neighborhood adjacent to other homes. Groups are asked to be mindful when gathering outside and not talk excessively loud or play music that would disturb the neighbors. This neighborhood has quiet hours from 10 pm till 7 am. During this time, when using the hot tub or fire pit, please be respectful of neighbors.
MUST BE AT LEAST 25 YEARS OF AGE TO BOOK
CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 60 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
