Welcome to Tiger Den!
Tiger Den is a 5BR/4.5BA retreat on Sugar Mountain. Sugar Mountain Resort is a short 6-minute drive away, providing full access to winter activities like skiing, snowboarding, ice skating, and snow tubing, as well as memorable summer fun with mountain biking, hiking, and chairlift rides. The town of Banner Elk is less than 10 minutes away, where guests can stroll the quaint Main Street and enjoy delicious restaurants, unique local shopping, and a community park. Tiger Den is close to many other local attractions like Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster (5 minutes), Sugar Creek Gem Mining (5 minutes), Grandfather Mountain State Park (20 minutes), Linville Falls (25 minutes), and Tweetsie Railroad (30 minutes).
With convenient access to many High Country favorites, paired with the privacy and serenity of the small town of Sugar Mountain, Tiger Den is a wonderful family getaway or setting for a group retreat. The living room has ample cozy seating surrounding a gas fireplace and a flat-screen TV. Off the living room, the covered deck overlooks the Blue Ridge mountains, with Adirondack seating to enjoy the cool mountain breeze. The kitchen overlooks the living and dining areas in a spacious open floor plan layout. There is seating for eight at the dining table and four at the bar.
The master bedroom on the main level has a king bed, private access to the covered deck, and a full ensuite bathroom with a jetted tub and walk-in shower. Two additional queen bedrooms on the main level share a jack-n-jill full bathroom with a walk-in shower.
The lower level of Tiger Den has a spacious den, equipped with a pool table, mini foosball table, and a cozy seating area around a gas fireplace and large flat-screen TV. A covered patio area off this den leads down to the fire pit in the backyard. Sleeping accommodations on the lower level include a queen bedroom with a private full bathroom and a bedroom with two twin beds and a twin trundle that shares a full bathroom with the lower level.
This home is not pet-friendly. There is parking space for four (4) vehicles. Access to this home is up a single step.

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 30 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 30 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
