Welcome to Vino and Views!
Vino and Views is an expansive 5BR lakefront house on Kerr Scott Lake between Boone and Wilkesboro, with stunning views of the sunsets, the lake, and the mountaintops beyond! With nearly 3 acres of private lakefront property, including a dock and boat lift, Vino and Views makes for the ideal family vacation getaway. Only 6 miles to Wilkesboro and 25 miles to Boone makes this a convenient destination near shopping, restaurants, and less than a half-hour to all the High Country has to offer.
Lake activities such as: water skiing, fishing, paddling, swimming, and just cruising the waters and shores of Kerr Scott are yours to enjoy at Vino and Views! Foothills Outdoor Adventures is less than 5 miles away, and they provide rentals for tubing, canoeing, paddle boarding, pontoon boats, and more. Bring your boat and use the boat lift, or arrange for delivery of a rental from the nearby marina. Vino and Views also offers a hot tub, game room, fire pit, and much more. The floating dock at the end of an outdoor stairway offers a covered boat slip and boat lift with deep water access, a let ski pad to dock a jet ski, and plenty of room to hang out under the sunshine at the lake! Hundreds of feet of private, wooded frontage on Kerr Scott Lake make this a special, private waterfront vacation paradise for families to enjoy!
The main level provides a dramatic open concept great room with vaulted ceilings, wood floors, leather furniture, fireplace, HD Smart TV, and a wall of glass framing mountain and lake views. The open dining area boasts a banquet-style dining table that can dine ten guests comfortably, plus 2 more if need be. With granite countertops and stainless appliances, the kitchen is equipped to prepare and serve meals to a full house. The open-air rear deck features a gas grill, outdoor dining, and outdoor lounging furniture, all under the sun and stars, and from which guests can enjoy spectacular views of Kerr Scott Lake and the Appalachian Mountains beyond. The sunsets from Vino and Views are priceless.
The King master bedroom suite flanks the main level on one side, with a screened porch, private ensuite full bathroom, walk-in closet, and much more. The generous bedroom provides a comfy atmosphere with lake and mountain views, and an HD Smart TV. The other side of the main level offers a King bedroom with extensive views of the lake and mountains, a second screened porch, and an HD Smart TV. The third main level bedroom also offers a King bed and an HD Smart TV. A second full bathroom services these two bedrooms as well as a powder room for the main level.
The lower level is anchored by a large den and game room, with a pool table and comfy furniture centered around a huge HD Smart TV. The bar provides a convenient place for snacks and drinks. Enjoy views of the lake and mountain tops from the lower level as well! One side of the lower level features a large King bedroom with an HD Smart TV and big views of the lake and mountains. The other side of the lower level features another large view bedroom with Twin-over-Full bunk beds, an HD Smart TV with a new Nintendo game console, and a fun space for children to spread out their toys and play. There is a full bathroom on the lower level, with a nicely-renovated tile shower, as well as a sauna. There is also a large laundry room with a washer and dryer. Rear glass doors lead out from the den and game room onto a lower rear deck and a huge hot tub. Walk down to the wood-burning fire pit on one side and the lake and the dock on the other side.
Central heat and air conditioning provide year-round comfort. Digital TV programming and high-speed WiFi internet keep guests connected and entertained. Dogs are allowed, but one dog per reservation only, and standard pet fees apply. Paved roads and a paved driveway with ample parking; and only a few steps up to the front door for main-level entry, and a lower level exterior side door make access to and into the house easy.
There are numerous parks and picnic areas close by, to which you will have a privileged access pass! There are marinas that rent boats and jet skis, biking and hiking trails, and much more, all a short drive away! The High Country, with skiing, hiking, zip lines, fly fishing, white water rafting, and much more, is less than a half-hour drive from Vino and Views!

CANCELLATION POLICY:
You may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. If you cancel more than 60 days before arrival, you will receive a refund of half the amount paid to date. Cancellations within 60 days before the arrival date do not receive a refund. If you purchase travel insurance and the reason for the cancellation is covered, you may recover the entire amount.
