Welcome to Birdsong!
Birdsong is a 2BR/1BA cozy cabin in Vilas. Just 5 miles away from the historic town of Valle Crucis, this home is close to many mountain adventures. Valle Crucis is home to the Mast General store, which offers goods from backpacks and walking boots to old-time candy, and everything in between. Right behind the store is Valle Crucis Community Park, with playgrounds, walking trails, sports fields, and access to the New River where you can swim and fish. Birdsong is 7 miles to Boone, with local shopping and restaurants, along with attractions like Boone Golf Course, Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, High Gravity Adventures Zipline and Aerial Park, and Appalachian Ski Mountain.Nestled among the pine trees, the peaceful setting of this home is perfect for a High Country getaway. There are layered mountain views off the wrap-around porch, which can be enjoyed from the hot tub or rustic rocking chairs. There is also a gas grill and picnic table with an umbrella for a barbecue on the deck. Down in the yard, a fire pit with extra seating is a great place to end the day.
