Welcome to Fern Cottage on Beech Mountain
Escape to Fern Cottage, a charming 2-bedroom, 2-bath Bavarian-style retreat nestled among the trees on beautiful Beech Mountain. This cozy mountain getaway sits on a quiet property with a gentle backyard slope—perfect for children and dogs to play safely. You may even spot native wildlife like wild turkeys, white-tailed deer, red foxes, or the occasional black bear wandering nearby.
Outdoor Spaces
Enjoy the fresh mountain air from the wraparound deck that extends from the front and side to the back of the home. The deck features a gas grill, outdoor seating, and dining space—ideal for relaxing or entertaining. The covered lower porch offers a quaint bistro table and chairs with easy access to the backyard. In spring through early fall, the trees provide a peaceful “treehouse” feel, while in winter, the leaves fall away to reveal beautiful seasonal mountain views.
Main Level
Step inside to an open-concept living and dining area anchored by a massive wood-burning stone fireplace and a large HD Smart TV. The comfortable leather sofa and glass doors lead to the back deck, where wooded scenery completes the cozy atmosphere. The dining table seats 4–6 and expands to accommodate up to 8 guests.
The fully equipped kitchen—recently renovated—features granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and everything you need to prepare meals for the whole family.
Also on the main level are two king bedrooms, each with an HD Smart TV, and two full bathrooms with tub/shower combinations.
Lower Level
Downstairs, you’ll find a spacious family room with another wood-burning fireplace, HD Smart TV, and a queen sleeper sofa. This level also includes a bar area with a mini-fridge, sink, microwave, and coffee maker, plus a table and chairs for casual dining or game nights.
