Welcome to Shady Pines!
Located in Banner Elk, Shady Pines is situated on a wooded lot with breathtaking long range mountain views. Banner Elk Winery is five minutes away and is close to downtown Banner Elk, about ten minutes from the cabin, and offers local shopping, dining, and breweries. Sugar Mountain Resort and Beech Mountain Ski Resort are both about twenty minutes from the cabin, and provide outdoor adventures. Beech Mountain Ski Resort hosts outdoor activities year-round for the whole family. In winter, you will find your favorite activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. In summer, guests can experience award-winning mountain bike trails, hiking, disc golf, and scenic lift rides. The Valle Crucis Community and riverfront park is eight miles down the road, and offers flat walking trails, playgrounds, various ball fields and courts, and access to the river for fishing, wading, and floating.
Shady Pines is a three-level cabin can accommodate up to nine guests in four bedrooms, with plenty of room to spread out or gather together. The main level living room features vaulted tongue and groove ceilings and a stacked rock wood-burning fireplace. Curl up on the leather couch to warm up after a day of High Country adventure while watching TV on the Smart TV. The covered back deck, located off the living room, is sure to delight guests with its outdoor dining, gas grill, and long-range mountain views.
