Welcome to Solace!
Solace is a mountain cabin with expansive views of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Whether enjoyed from the comfort of the wrap-around covered porch or a relaxing dip in the hot tub, 180-degree views of the rolling mountain landscape surround this log home.
Located just 10 minutes away from historic Valle Crucis and 15 minutes away from Boone, this home is close to many High Country favorites. A big draw is Valle Crucis with the Mast General Store and the Valle Crucis Community Park. This park has multiple playgrounds for the kids, several picnic shelters, basketball courts, and access to the Watauga River, where you can fish or swim. Some local attractions in the Boone area are Tweetsie Railroad Amusement Park, Doc’s Rocks Gem Mining, Appalachian Ski Mountain, the High Gravity Zipline & Aerial Park, and the Boone Golf Course.
Enter Solace, and vaulted ceilings and a stone fireplace highlight the warm cabin interior. There is a flat-screen TV with cable and many windows revealing the mountains. The living room flows into the open kitchen and dining space, with seating for four (4) at the main dining table, additional seating at the bar, and an outdoor dining table on the covered porch.
The master bedroom is on the main level and has a king-size bed, a flat-screen TV, cozy seating, and an attached private full bathroom with a combination tub and shower and a laundry area. Upstairs is a second bedroom with a queen-size bed and two twin beds adjoining an open loft. There is a shared bathroom upstairs.
Downstairs is the third bedroom, which also serves as a game room. It has a foosball table, checkers and chess table, and a large, flat-screen TV. There is also a fourth sleeping space, with a twin bed and a trundle pull-out in this entertainment area. Step outside to enjoy the porch swing overlooking the sweeping views.
This home is pet-friendly, and there is parking for four (4) vehicles. Three small steps lead up to the entrance, providing easy access for everyone.
