The Buck And The Bear Cabin, located on Beech Mountain, is less than five minutes from Beech Mountain Ski Resort, offering year-round outdoor activities for the whole family. In winter, you will find your favorite activities like skiing, snowboarding, and snow tubing. In summer, guests can experience award-winning mountain bike trails, hiking, disc golf, and scenic lift rides. Several hiking trails, including Smoketree Trail, Lower Pond Creek Trail, and Sassafras Trail, are within a 5 minutes drive from the cabin. Buckeye Recreation Center is less than three miles away, with fishing, basketball, tennis courts, a playground, and a hiking trail to a beautiful waterfall. The Village of Beech Mountain is a short drive and offers local dining and shopping options. The Buck And The Bear Cabin has three bedrooms and three bathrooms to accommodate up to eight guests. The main floor master bedroom features a king bed, full futon, TV, and private ensuite with a step-in shower. A wall air conditioning unit and electric wall fireplace are provided for your comfort. Downstairs the queen bedroom has a Roku TV, electric fireplace, and wall air conditioning unit. The third bedroom is located downstairs and has one queen and one full bed and a Roku TV. This room does not have air conditioning, but does have a wall mounted electric fireplace. The lower level bathroom has heated floors and a 2-person jacuzzi tub with a rain shower head.
Additional amenities include WiFi, and a washer and dryer. The common areas are heated with heat monitors, but do not have air conditioning.
